Middle School wins Science Bowl: On Saturday, April 5th, Students Cedar Farwell of Hartland (8h grade), Jake Hurwitz of Stockbridge (8th grade), Evan Roe of West Brookfield (7th grade), and Annabelle Roberts of Hartland (8th grade) competed in and won the Middle School Science Bowl sponsored by the US Department of Energy in
Congrats to Rebecca Young Ward who as been honored for her exemplary volunteer service with a President's Volunteer Service Award. The award, sponsored by Prudential Financial in partnership with the National Association of Secondary School Principals recognizes young people across America for outstanding community service activities.
It's Easy Being Green: Seniors Hanna Coxon, Bekah Woodin, Sarah Wolfe, and Hannah McMeekin are selling 100% organic cotton T-shirts with "green" messages on them for their class on Energy and the Environment. TSA ART: TSA third quarter art is featured at the South Royalton Coop now through the end of May.
Five TSA High School students have work in the 27th Annual Congressional Art Competition sponsored by the US Congress. Ada DeFriez ('08), Lily Carter ('08), Robin Spencer ('08), Libbie Pattison ('10) and Lucy Howe ('09) have work on display at the T.W. Wood Art Gallery in Montpelier as a part of the exhibit. The awards ceremony will take place on May 12 at a closing reception and one piece of art from students around the state will be selected and displayed with other Congressional District winners in Washington, D.C. for a year.
