The Sharon Academy

Students taking calculus will develop the skills necessary for success in higher level college mathematics courses. Emphasis will be placed on problems involving real world applications. Topics covered will include integral and differential calculus and the concept of limits. Student performance will be assessed through homework, quizzes, skill drills, projects, and exams. There will be a strong focus on using technology, graphing calculators and computer applications to aid in visualizing principles and solving problems.
